Tears and Lights

Well this morning I woke up thinking that we were going to discharged from the hospital sometime before lunch. Kyle had to have an ultrasound this morning to check on a little dimple on his back side which ended being normal, but his bilirubin this morning was continuing to creep up and he was looking a little yellow. So Dr. Binder decided to check another level at 1 pm and if it was continuing to rise he wanted to keep him over night for phototherapy. Well Dr. Binder called me around 2:45 pm and said that Kyle would have to stay. I cried like a baby off and on for the rest of the day because I did not want to leave my baby boy at the hospital. We decided to go ahead and come home after his 3 pm feeding. Nana made us dinner (Thank you Nana!) and so we had dinner and I spent some time with the girls. Chloe got to snuggle with which she has missed the last few nights. I then returned to the hospital for Kyle's 10 pm feeding and he did so good at latching on. He is not back under the lights. His bili has come down quite a bit already so by tomorrow morning he should for sure be good to go. I can't wait to bring our little guy home! Here are a few pictures of him sun bathing.

Here are also just a few more pictures of our little man. He is just so cute I have to show him off.

Big Sisters and More Pictures

I just love this picture because he is so alert! He looks like a little man.

Here are pictures of when Kaitlyn and Chloe first saw Kyle. They just love him and cannot wait for him to come home. Chloe just cannot hold him enough until he cries and then she says "here" and wants you to take him right away. There are also pictures of Dan's Mom (Grammie) and his niece Megan with Mr. Kyle. I love the picture of Dan looking at him. He is so proud!

Kaitlyn's Crazy Face

Kaitlyn has learned to make this very strange face. She takes her tongue and puts it in front of all of her teeth except the one that is loose. Just thought I would show you this new talent.

Church Shower

I had my church shower on Sunday May 3rd. It was at Angie and Caleb's house and was wonderful as all of her parties are. Hosting the shower was Angie Allen, Shelly Womack, Christy VanderWoude, Nicki Stahl and Kristen McGinn. We received so many great things for Kyle. Thanks to everyone for your gifts and a great time of visiting with friends.
Shelly won the game by describing what I was wearing while I was out of the room, Mom made the cake and Chloe and Scarlett helped me open gifts.

Louisiana

Nana took as to Louisianna for some fun and relaxation. We stayed at L'Auberge du Lac. The main reason she wanted to take us was because of the pool. And the pool was awesome. The girls had a blast. Here are a few pictures from our trip.
There were two pools, two jacuzzis and a lazy river!

Chloe was checking out the pool. No worries we were on the 20th floor and the windows were tinted!
