Go Texan Day

Today was Go Texan Day at both of the girl's school. The looked so cute in their cowgirl gear. Dan decided to put Kyle in his cowboy outfit as well.

Life Group Valentine's Party

Last night we had 7 couples from our Life Group over for a Valentine's Dinner. We had Olive Garden and homemade desserts. YUMMY! We were able to visit and get to know each other better. We also had a board with baby pictures of us as well as a few celebrities and the goal was to figure out as many of the pictures as you could. We had a great time. I love to be a part of this group of christian couples who are doing their best to have a marriage that serves and pleases God.

Wow, my kids amaze me!

I have not updated in a while, which I am sure does not surprise anyone. So I am going to tell a little of what each of the kiddos are doing and why I am so amazed by them.

Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn is so smart and has such a huge heart. She is always wanting to give to others and help people out. She is in the 2nd grade and is reading on a 4th grade reading level. She is great at spelling and math as well. I am just amazed at how smart she is. She is going to be starting soccer again in the next few weeks which she is looking forward to. Kaitlyn is such a Daddy's girl!

Chloe
Well Chloe is changing everyday and it is crazy to see. She is also very smart. She is in pre-k 4 and she knows a Bible verse (including their location in the Bible) for letters A-P so far. She will know all the way through Z by the end of the school year. Her teacher Mrs. Kuhn loves having her in class and says she is always trying to help and sometimes tries to be the teacher. She loves to snuggle and just be with me, she is definitely a momma's girl!

Kyle
Well Kyle is 8 1/2 months old and he is ALL BOY! He is all over the place and into EVERYTHING! He is crawling at top speeds and is crusing around the couch. He has let go a few times and was able to stand on his own for a few seconds. He pulls up on everything and has tried to eat dog food, the rocks out of the fireplace and fuzz from the carpet. He has gone out the doggie door and on to the deck in the back yard. He is always moving and does not like to be held (which makes me very sad!). In the last few days he has learned to wave and it is so cute. We are trying to catch in on video so when we do I will post it.
