Kyle has a funny sense of fashion. He enjoys wearing any shoes he can find and most of the time on the wrong feet. He also wears anything on his head and says its a hat. Also notice that many times he has a belt on (even if there are no belt loops).
Daddy's shoes and the thing you use to wash a hat.
Well it appears in the pictures on the Carolina Creek Website that Kaitlyn is having a lot of fun. We miss her like crazy. She sent a letter to us that was very sweet. She said that she loves and misses all of us. Here are a couple of pictures from today at camp.
This is Kaitlyn with Becca, one of her counselors.
Here are a few pictures that were on the Caroline Creek website. They post pictures of each day. I don't know any of the names of these kiddos yet, but I am sure Kaitlyn will tell me when she gets home. She is very missed around here! I don't think she has any idea that when she is not here there is a piece of the puzzle missing. It is only Monday and I just want to be able to talk to her about her day and hear her sweet voice. Okay enough pity party, I know that she is having a great time! Here are the pics.
This is Kaitlyn's first summer to attend summer camp. She is at Carolina Creek Christian Camp in Huntsville, Texas. We dropped her off today at 4:00 pm and we will pick her up next Saturday at 10:00 am. We will not be able to even talk to her, which we have already decided is very hard. We can go on the camp website and check out pictures from each day. I think that she is going to have a blast. When we arrived we dropped her off at the mess hall and we went to get her all signed in. By the time we came back to her cabin she had already made a friend named Dallas (this is her 4th summer at camp) and they were in their bathing suits ready to hit the pool. She was not worried about us at all. I will update next Saturday when she returns.
Yesterday morning Chloe woke up with a VERY loose tooth and by 8:15 am it was out. She left it for the tooth fairy last night and woke up this morning to $5.Then this afternoon she told Dan that she wanted to ride her bike without training wheels. We have been working on this off and on for several months, but today she got it. She was so excited and wanted to just keep riding until it was dark and we had to make her come inside. She is almost ready to move up to the next size of bikes. She is becoming such a big girl.
I am Katie. I am a Christian, a wife, a mother and a nurse. I am married to Dan, the best husband, friend and father I could have ever imagined. We have Kaitlyn who is 7, Chloe is 4 and Kyle arrived May 29th.
