Our church, Crosspoint Church, put on their 2nd annual Egg Drop this year. They had several drops this year by age group. Kyle 1st, then Chloe's group and then a little later in the day Kaitlyn.
Chloe with her friend Scarlett waiting for the egg hunt to start. Her basket was overflowing. The first 2 hunts of the day were just hunts, but the last 3 were actual helicopter drops. It was really cool to see all of the eggs falling from onto the football field.Another overflowing basket. All of the kids got more than enough eggs this year.
We had a garage sale and with the money that we made we purchased a new desk. Dan started to put it together and Kyle decided he should help. It was really cute!
This year for Spring Break we rented a beach house down in Galveston. It was just a block away from the seawall and only. We could see the beach out our front window. It was a little chilly, but we had a lot of fun! The girls even had fun swimming in the freezing cold water. Sorry for posting so many pictures, but it was so hard to choose which ones to post. We went straight to the beach the first day that we arrived. We also visited the strand and had ice cream at the Emporium. The kids loved their ice cream and milk shakes!
We played Uno in the evenings. This is one of the girls favorite games. The next morning we relaxed for awhile and then ate pancakes, which as you can see Kyle enjoyed. Then back to the beach for more fun!
Dan made a sand sculpture of me.
We were very tired and I was quite sunburned. One last picture on the beach before we headed home.
Today was sports day at Chloe's school and Spring pictures for Kaitlyn. Here they are ready to go. Kaitlyn looked so pretty. I know her pictures are going to turn out great!
This is actually an Aggie's jersey that we bought for Kyle before he was born. It is a size 2T, but Chloe can squeeze her little skinny self into it.
Kyle finally has his first teeth. He has not been too fussy, but we like teething tablets for the rough times. You can see in the picture that the one on the left is already much taller than the one on the right. It is a little funny looking. the left is already much taller than the one on the right. I blogged a while back that Chloe could say her Bible verses for the letters A-P. Well she is up to S now and she let me videotape it. Well apparently the video is too big so it will not let me post it. If you have a facebook account go to my wall and under videos you will find. It is really cute so I hope you are able to see it and it I am ever able to figure out a way to post it I will.
Chloe is trying very hard to learn to ride her bike without training wheels. We have already raised them and when they are on she does not even really use them. So today we took them off to see how she did. If you look very closely you can see that Dan is not holding on and she is doing really well. She still gets scared and not quite ready to go it alone. We will keep working on it.
Kyle is 9 months old. It is so hard to believe. He is so busy all the time. He loves to play with his toys (actually these were big sister Chloe's). He has grown so much. He is very snuggly and loves to spend time with his sisters.
I am Katie. I am a Christian, a wife, a mother and a nurse. I am married to Dan, the best husband, friend and father I could have ever imagined. We have Kaitlyn who is 7, Chloe is 4 and Kyle arrived May 29th.
