Super Siblings

Dan and I signed the girls up for the Super Sibling class at Clear Lake Hospital. They had a blast getting to talk about what they can and cannot do with baby Kyle when he arrives. Then they were taken on a tour around Labor and Delivery, to see a few babies in the nursery and to postpartum to see where I will be after Kyle is born. We finished off the night with ice cream at Ben and Jerry's. Below are a few pictures of the night.

Soup, Salad and Friends

Mom threw me a shower for a few friends. We had soup and salad, played a few games and just had a great time visiting. When we got to mom's it was not raining, when we left her street was flooded. It was crazy how much it rained in such a short time. I got some great things to finish Kyle's room and things that we definitely need before bringing him home. It was a great time and I thank Mom and Rebekah for a great shower!

Happy Easter 2009!

Okay, I know a lot of posts today, but I had to get caught up. This should be the last one for today. I have not downloaded the pictures from the egg drop yet because they are on the other camera, but here are pictures from decorating last night and then hunting eggs this morning, easter baskets and the girls all dressed up in their Easter outfits! What an awesome service we had today celebrating the ressurection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! How great it is is to be a New Creation in Him!
The egg-coloring process!

The goods from Mr. Easter Bunny

A new DS game!

A new Dora movie!

The Hunt

She just could not see that egg on the tray of the swing!

All dressed up

Kaitlyn's First Soccer Game

Kaitlyn had her first soccer game yesterday. She is playing with FFPS (Fun, Fair, Positive Soccer). It is non-competitive, but if she likes it a lot (which so far she does) then we will put her in a competitive league. She is actually very good and it is great exercise. Here are a few pictures from her first game. Go Torpedos!

Kyle's Room

Well we have finished decorating Kyle's room for the most part. We may add a few more things along the way, but it turned out really cute! Here are a few pictures to give everyone a sneak peak. Dan painted the Astros, Texans and Aggies logos on canvas to use as decoration. Dan also had a framed picture of the very first game at Minute Maid so we decided to use it as well. I painted the letters blue attached the differents sports balls to them. I just love the switchplate cover that we ordered online so I had to put a picture of it. My Nana purchased the bedding for us and we just love. Hopefully Kyle will love his sports room for many years to come!
